Blue Tao Elephant Village is not only to improve the living conditions of our rescued elephants in ethical way, but also to coexist with the Karen Hill Tribe community near our base camp. We buy some agricultural products from them to use for elephant food such as Napier grasses, sugar canes and bananas. We sponsor some village' activities such as Children's Day, help provide some equipment for the public health center. In return, they help us to protect and keep clean the community forest, jungle waterfalls, and creating a firebreak in the summer.

Arrival at our elephant village. Change into a traditional elephant keeper t-shirt.Learn about elephant daily life and health care, cooking herbal rice balls and feed them.

Easy walking for 30 minutes with our rescued elephants (No Riding) through the lush jungle.
Observe elephants roaming freely in the wild, happy foraging foods & scratching on trees.
04:00 pm
Take another 30 minutes walking back to the base camp. Farewell feeding and say goodbye
to the elephants. Take a shower.

Dinner at our restaurant among the trees. At the same time. Foot Spa session for you.
Soaking up your feet in warm water with herbs and salt to relax after walking.
05:30 pm Leave the village and return to Chiang Mai.
